Monthly Mix: November 2008
Finally back in action after the power supply in my computer felt like taking a huge steaming turd and leaving me without much of a way to work on the blog for a few days. Anyway, first order of business is getting the much delayed monthly mix up for everyone. I was in process of doing it Sunday when things suddenly went south with the PC. Regular updating should take place this week hopefully. As for the monthly mix, this one is a bit more of a rocker. I must say that cover of “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by The Forms is really cool and I tip my hat to Gimme Tinnitus for guiding me towards that.
As usual, I highly suggest for anyone that is enjoying something off the mix to investigate further and pick up an album. I absolutely never thought I would be posting any version of that. That really goes to show how good that cover is.
Anyway, I just realized I forgot to link you in that post…fixing that now.

Better than expected… I’m still waiting for someone to do an Am Rep style cover of Billy Joel’s “Pressure.”

Hadn’t even noticed Rectangle on the mix because of my focus on that Forms cover. Always good to see them.

Haha, an AmRep styled cover of that song would be great. The only downside would be having to mention Billy Joel on this blog twice.
