Cherubs – Pink Party Dessert 7” (1992, Trance Syndicate) & Star Pimp – Treasure Trail 7” (1992, Boner)
Already well covered on the blog in some form or another, however here a couple things I tinkered around with while transferring some singles to my computer. The first item is a pretty solid single from the great Austin, TX noise-rockers Cherubs. So yeah, here is the Pink Party Dessert 7’’. The b-side “Downy Downer” is a pretty great tune for anyone that hasn’t heard it before and I don’t think it ever appeared anywhere else. However, I reserve the right to be wrong about that.

Cherubs – Downy Downer [MP3]
The second single I have here is the Treasure Trail 7’’ from Star Pimp (who I wrote about here) released in 1992 through the amazing Boner Records label. Definitely check it out.

Star Pimp – Meat Grinder [MP3]
Star Pimp – Virginia [MP3]
Be back later this week with some newer releases to check out. In the meantime, enjoy.

Thanks for keeping the Cherubs flame lit. Brahveaux. Downy Downer did not appear anywhere else – and was originally titled “Pillar of Salt”. – K
