Landlords – Wheelchair Night CS
Landlords are more scum peddling noise coming from the east coast. Picked up their debut release Wheelchair Night a couple or so weeks ago looking for exactly that and got it. This is pretty top notch twisted material that seems ride a bit of an early Swans vibe while being scrubbed down in some pretty nasty distortion. The opening track “Vanity Plates” sent me on a mad dash to the cassette deck as it sounded almost as if the tape itself was being eaten. Should have just guessed that it was the actual track and not my hardware, but this thing is a second hand deck after all and well…I don’t trust it THAT much. Anyway, take a listen a below…
